Biography
Robert Burr was a big screen film actor known for powerful performances. At the beginning of his acting career, Burr was featured in dramas like "The Possession of Joel Delaney" (1972) with Shirley MacLaine and Michael Hordern. He next focused his entertainment career on film, appearing in "Bogard" (1975), "The Black Street Fighter" (1976) and the thriller "Tattoo" (1981) with Bruce Dern. Burr's more recent roles included the Fred Astaire horror flick "Ghost Story" (1981), the comedy sequel "A Return to Salem's Lot" (1987) with Michael Moriarty and "Netherworld" (1992). He also appeared in the Matthew Broderick comedy adventure "Out on A Limb" (1992). Burr more recently acted on "Two" (1996-97).
